How do I enroll in a class? #

Open the Catalog, select a class, and add it to cart. Complete checkout to unlock modules instantly for self-paced courses or on the cohort start date for cohort courses.

What materials and tools do I need? #

Each class includes a materials checklist. Beginners can start with a basic kit: low-fire clay, a few wooden tools, sponge, wire cutter, and a plastic bat. Safety data sheets are provided for glaze chemicals when applicable.

Do I need a kiln at home? #

No. Many students use local studios or community centers for firing. We cover how to pack, label, and communicate cones, clay bodies, and glazes with studio technicians.

What is your refund policy? #

Self-paced classes: full refund within 7 days if less than 20% of modules are completed. Cohorts: full refund until 48 hours before the first session. See Terms for details.

Do you provide certificates? #

Yes. Completing all modules and the final project earns a Harborfine Institute Certificate of Completion for that class.

How flexible are schedules? #

Self-paced modules are available 24/7. Cohort sessions follow a published calendar with recorded replays if you miss a meeting.

Is the platform accessible? #

We strive for WCAG AA: keyboard navigation, screen reader labels, adjustable contrast, and captioned videos.

Where can I get support? #

Email [email protected] or use the Contact page. Response times are typically under 48 hours on business days.
